The Irony

Oh the irony...


I recently decided to join the school band at Kepler-Gymnasium. So after about a week of trying to play Mendelssohn and getting so frustrated that I almost threw my instrument against the wall and could feel my pulse in my forhead. I went to the group practice today and realized that it wasnt too bad. It was pretty sweet, i made new friends and so on so forth....


now to the irony.

Ok... so all of the woodwinds and brass instruments are the ones that you blow into... As you know all languages have different names for all of the instruments

Violin (English) Geige (German) Skrzypce (Polish)
Viola Brache Altówka
Flute Flöte Flet
Bassoon Faggot Fagot....


so ok... that is pretty awesome... the bassoon in german is a faggot... that is just great...
